Jinous has been performing for as long as she can remember, starting out in “the biz” as a baby in commercials for Downy, toy stores, restaurants, and more. She grew up as a child model and actress, performing on stages as well as in front of the camera. She continued her acting career throughout high school, where she became a Thespian, and in college (University of Arizona), where she received her BFA in Arts Management with a Theatre emphasis. After college, she worked at the Bahá’í National Center and Bahá’í House of Worship in the greater Chicago area for a few years, where she had the opportunity to have small parts in movies such as Batman: The Dark Knight, Fred Claus, and The Break Up. Jinous has toured with theatre and dance troupes throughout the US, Canada, and Mexico, performing on numerous stages.
Jinous’ voiceover career began four years ago, when she moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting. She began recording voicovers for the popular television and movie website www.hulu.com. Since then, she’s become a regular and recorded dozens of voiceovers for Hulu’s streaming video service, as well as for various other companies throughout the US. In 2011 she began working with www.hearthewritings.com, and feels honored and blessed to be able to contribute her talents in service to the Bahá’í Faith.
