Adam Mondschein

Hi, I’m an actor. I’ve had the pleasure of introducing myself in this way ever since I graduated from the University of Maryland’s BFA acting program in 2001 and I do so with a great sense of pride now that I’ve completed my MFA in Acting from UCLA. I’ve had some extremely rewarding experiences on stages around the world, including being the 2012 full scholarship winner of the British American Drama Academy’s Midsummer in Oxford Acting program and of A Guthrie Experience for Actor’s in Training at the Guthrie Theatre in Minnesota as well as working with several Shakespeare companies including Baltimore Shakespeare Festival, Chesapeake Shakespeare Company, and more recently with Shakespeare Santa Barbara and the Uprising Theatre Company. I am deeply passionate about bringing the words of the Bard to life and have had the honor of playing significant roles with numerous Shakespeare companies across the country. In addition to my love for the stage I have also had the opportunity to do quite a bit of voice-over work, including a couple “books on tape”, samples of which can be heard at HearTheWritings.com and an animated feature for which I’m credited on IMDB.

I’m very excited to be in the heart of Hollywood and hope to establish a career in television and film as the ‘classically-trained bad guy/captain of the next starship enterprise’ while nurturing a healthy stage career working with the major regional theaters. Eventually when I’m older, grayer and wiser, I would love to become an acting coach and teacher in hopes of passing forward the inspiration and passion I’ve had the great fortune to be surrounded with and blazon the name of UCLA across the industry with the respected professional reputation I aim to cultivate.
